I have noticed over the last couple of days that after riding for about 10 miles or more, I have some small black specks of oil on my right leg, from the knee down. When I first saw it, I thought maybe I had just ran through something on the road and hadnt noticed. Today is the 3rd day in a row though of riding that my leg has had oil on it. Should there be anything specific I need to look for on the bike? |

Uh....leaking oil perhaps? You have a bunch of oil lines and the oil filter on that side of the bike. When my starter gasket bit the dust, I had oil on my boots in the similar area, so take a look around that area as well. How much oil did you lose? |

I just got done looking the bike over. Looked allll over the right side of the motor, could not find a thing. I then noticed that the right front fork has little black specs on the backside of it, kinda like what I have on my pants. They wiped off really easily though, not like oil would. Going to take a closer look at the fork, and take some pictures when I get home. Im not too worried about it now since the motor looks clean as a whistle! |

Brake dust perhaps? |

Thats what I am thinking now. Tons of brake dust is collected on the right side fork right at the front fender. Left fork is clean. |

take your airbox cover off and look at the air-filter area. after a while on my bike the oil builds up and then leaks on my left leg. clean it up and all should be good for awhile. took mine to the dealer and they said it was normal. that is why the catch can would be nice. later, Aaron |

You know you shouldn't put Armor-all on your tires, right?

Lol yes, I know that using armor all on the tires is a bad idea :P. Airbox looked clean. Going to give her a good wash this weekend. See if I still get spots on my pant leg after that. |
