Anybody want to comment on this seat? Is it actually more comfortable than stock? Reason I ask is it does not look much different than stock. Is the foam thicker and more dense as advertised? Have not seen one in person, only on the website. And last is it worth the $150 or is there something better? ----Rethy |

Yes, the pegasus touring seat is awesome. It will raise you about 3/4". Comfort level is a major improvement. I do 500-600 mile days on my firebolt and my ass is fine. Try lightning pegs, this will give you more leg room as well. |

My ass would be killing me with the stock seat at about 100 miles. I've done 3 times that on the select seat with no problems. Easier on the knees too, because of the extra height. Highly recommended. Keep an eye on ebay. If you aren't in a rush, you can sometimes save a few bucks. |

Al at American Sport Bike hooked me up with a kick-ass Corbin for my XBR, all day comfort and looks cool too. |

Thanks for the replies thats just what I was hoping to hear. I did pick up a set of lightning pegs. Have not had a chance to try them out. Touring seat and a Zero Gravity touring shield and I think I am set. Thanks again for replies.-----Rethy |

i preferred the stocker. i don't ride cross country, though. the increased foam makes a steeper angle forward, so i was always "humping" the airbox. not comfy |

I prefer the corbin on the XBRs for long trips But you cant hang off the bike bike as well as the stock and even the touring seat. |

Anybody have any experience with the touring pillion seat? Does it make the back seat of an XBR liveable for 100 mile trips? |

touring pillion seat: My wife rode that seat for 400+ miles in one day. With lots of stops. A huge leap in comfort from stock. We call it the princess pad. We also "flipped" the passenger pegs for more passenger comfort. (Message edited by barker on January 03, 2008) |

I like my Corbin seat for myself. For my passenger I have the Buell "custom" seat with the embroidered logo. They tell me that it was a sizable improvement over the stock pillion pad. |

I have the custom and the touring pillion. My GF LOVES the touring seat over the other. She can ride a couple hundred miles without a problem. Huge difference. |

I have both the Rider and Touring passenger seats. MAYBE improvement, altho the added height makes it tough for me to reach the ground. I am 5'5" but for long trips, it's worth it. It combined with heli bars make a huge difference |

I got the Touring Pillion for my lady a few months ago. She is much happier. So much so that she keeps asking me for rides and wants to ride longer. She'd get sore after about an hour with the stock pillion and that's not the case now. |

I got the touring seat for my wife. She said it was an improvement over stock but certainly was no dream. We are still looking for improvement passenger seats, possibly a Myers custom made or just go w/ a new motorcycle. |

Jeff, had problems emailing photos..... thought I could just post them here. Notice on the bottom near the front is some scuffing, pic quality is not the best but it's in good shape, some light scratches on top surface.
