Kedo your bike looks good and i like your front pulley cut out.I'm def going to be buying some darkhorse sliders very soon.i hate using my swing arm for the race stand, plus god forbid i ever go down. Thats how i did mine as well, but i painted the nut and the outer rim of the pulley. I painted the washer black. |

I removed that retainer washer, and sprayed it with 1500*F blue engine paint, and masked everything off and sprayed the pulley silver. It keeps the blue and silver color scheme. And to further clean the image i removed the passenger foot rests but I kinda think it looks too naked back there. Should I keep the rear pegs on or off?

Ferrisbuellersdayoff- Beautiful Firebolt. Definitely keep the rear pegs off. I really like the clean rear-end... So chic. So MotoGP... So |

ferris It looks cleaner with out the rear pegs, and makes the tail seem higher. I say keep them off.I would remove mine but i would like my wife to go for a spin with me next year. if she is still persistant about not going, they are comming off. I like what you did with the pulley the blue and silver look good. It is a pretty simple mod that dresses up that part of the bike. I'm sure we will be seeing more of this mod on the board. Thanks guys, I love doing these mods because it gives me pride in my craftsmanship. That and I'm usually broke. My next mod will be some REAL axle sliders. These are only temporary, honestly I swear. I think they look cheesy but hey 'Any port in a storm' right? Some protection is better than none. |
