Anybody have any experience bringing a bike into the UK? Should I bother or just pick something up over here?   Trojan Posted on Monday, December 03, 2007 - 11:45 am:        Your best bet would be to pick one up over here unless you are US Forces and can get away with riding around on US plates ;). Used prices are quite low here, and importing a bike has become a complete nightmare, especially from outside Europe.
