I don't think Jens cut up an entire XBRR to make this wonderful creation. At this past years BORG (Buell Onwer and Repair Group) MSM (Mid Summer Meeting) Jens had this on display at the HillBilly Motors stand.

XBRR engine

Man, that picture really shows the differences of the XBRR engine from the XB engine.
I'm really impressed by the exhaust. It appears that it's a step-up type header. I can only imaging the amount of R&D that went into just the exhaust.

Question: If they are shaving weight, why the wire wheels? Would those actually be lighter than the XBRR magnesium wheels? Wouldn't think that the cost would be that big an issue on a bike like that.

The wheels may have been an aestetic choice on Jens part, but I would be curious about the weight
of the wheels. I like the spoked wheels myself, and if they weren't so expensive I would put
a pair on my bike.

If the manufacturer wanted advertising I am looking at painting my bike and I would not be
averse to putting a large logo on the fairings in exchange for wheels

Same goes for other cool products with logo size varied according to value of the product..
I would of course attach a pic of my bike to every post I make etc...

A well built wheel wheel can be a lot stronger than you'd ever think. Why do you think all the off road guys run them? I know that my road bike had 16 spokes front and 20 rear and in ten years I've never tacoed a rim and i'm over 200 lb and the roads here suck.

Cast wheel have very little give in them and bend where a spoked wheel gives and rebounds.

BTW 1st off road bike to have a cast wheel? Rokon! had a pull starter and CV trans as well and disc brakes...25-30 years ago! Now they build these things. and are the 2nd oldest motorcycle co in the USA.

All the best!
