I thought Buell tarted up one too many XB platforms when they released the TT, but the fast guys I know in the twisties were intrigued and enthusiastic about it from the start. The roads in North Georgia are even more challenging than that stretch of road shown in France, I should have known those guys were onto something. Even for a local event racing against dilettantes, that was a pretty impressive display. |

The thing about that performance is that in a way, it's more "real world" than other forms of racing. Hats off to Denis and Bruno for a job well done. Anybody have any email contacts? |

I said it after the 1st time I tested the TT back in January. It's the best 'real world' Buell built to date. Buell's only faults with the TT are aesthetics and marketing. It was lame in that respect. Look at all the hype that Duacti Hypermotard got. The TT bests it's performance in just about every category, and does it for less $$. |

"Look at all the hype that Duacti Hypermotard got. The TT bests it's performance in just about every category, and does it for less $$." Especially in the miles between gas stops category! Seriously, the TT is by all accounts an absolutely brilliant motorcycle. Unfortunately many people will overlook it because it does not look that impressive on the spec sheet. It's tragic, really. It's a classic case of the sum being greater than the individual parts. It has however been getting very good press so it may be a late bloomer! |

Unfortunately many people will overlook it because it does not look that impressive on the spec sheet. Could be said about every Buell....except the 1125r....Schwing. |

A "local event against dilettantes", Djk? I don't think so, unless you consider all French racers to be dilettantes. Randy de Puniet and a few others might take issue with that! Go research the MotoTour. It doesn't make the cover of France's main motorcycle magazine as a "local" race. There are factory supported race teams in this. |

The Hypermotard's nearly 3 gallon tank is its downfall for me and the fact that Ducati, Triumph, BMW, and just about every other European bike is going up by $500 for 08. The Euro is just killing the dollar. I thought it was funny when Michael Locke, ceo of Ducati NA, said the Hypermotard was a "sub 12 thousand Ducati." At 11,995 it sure is a steal. |

Some men are a very simple and easily satiated bunch. Most seem to get off on the looks of the Hypermotard alone. |

And may more look at it than buy it . . . they have a few at my BMW dealer (also a large Ducati place) and they seem to ALWAYS have folks looking at them and ALWAY seem to be still sitting there. I love the looks of it, right up there with the Monster and the MH900e. Anybody have any idea how they are selling overall? |

Is anyone else "virtually" hitting that rise where the left to right lighter colored road intersects the bottom to top darker road . . . I've flown it 4 times now and think I have it. . . just as I land, I let the back end break right, heel it over, make the left and head up the hill. I want that yard. |

I found all those pictures on their blog. I'll post the link after I get home. I guess I should have posted the link to begin with. The blog is all in French, so my guess is that track is in France somewhere. My deductive reasoning is impeccable is it not! |
