Has anyone tried to acquire the RHS (throttle) switchgear in the '08 config that includes the slide switch for the heated hand grip as a separate part outside the heating kit?

If so is it a straight plug and play for the rest of the controls? I'm going to get some Polly Grip Heaters but want to make the install look somewhat factory instead of using the toggle switch included.

Sorry, you'll have to cut and paste to make it work

I installed polly heaters on my uly, using the toggle switch, they got so hot on low that I could barely hang on to the grips. I was constantly turning them off and on, I switched over to a heat troller and they work great. Not as nice an install as the OEM switch gear but something you might want to consider

has anyone found a small switch that could be mounted in the location of the factory blank spot on the RHS, and look kinda good?

My heated grips will be arriving monday, and I am not apposed to mounting it somewhere by the key but mounting it on the controls would be cool. I also plan to use the euro center bulb wiring for the power source, anyone have any issues using this, or am I better off using it as a switch source for a relay, and then run a new heavier gage wire to the battery

If I hadn't already installed Pollys and drilled a hole for the switch, I would have been all over the new switch housing.

Even though it's not exactly compatible with my 05, I'm sure, even with my almost non existent electrical skills, that I could have figured out how to use it with the pollys.
