Time to play Genie. You get three wishes for your XB. What would you do next? Pretty simple for me: 1. HeliBars 2. Engine - would like to get the 9 crank with a 3 13/16" bore, ported heads, cams. 3. Custom front fairing... looking to use a competition fairing with a single bi-xenon headlight. After that, all I'll need is some custom paint and a GPS solution and I'm all set. |

This would be my luck but the money would be good. Enjoy. A man walks into a restaurant with a full-grown ostrich behind him. The waitress asks for their orders. The man says, "A hamburger, fries and a coke," and turns to the ostrich, "What's yours?" "I'll have the same," says the ostrich. A short time later the waitress returns with the order. "That will be $9.40 please," and the man reaches into his pocket and pulls out the exact change for payment. The next day, the man and the ostrich come again and the man says, "A hamburger, fries, and a coke." The ostrich says, "I'll have the same." Again the man reaches into his pocket and pays with exact change. This becomes routine until, the two enter again. "The usual?" asks the waitress. "No, this is Friday night, so I will have a steak, baked potato, and salad," says the man. "Same," says the ostrich. Shortly the waitress brings the order and says, "That will be $32.62." Once again the man pulls the exact change out of his pocket and places it on the table. The waitress can't hold back her curiosity any longer. "Excuse me, sir. How do you manage to always come up with the exact change out of your pocket every time?" "Well," says the man, "several years ago I was cleaning the attic and found an old lamp. When I rubbed it a Genie appeared and offered me two wishes. My first wish was that if I ever had to pay for anything, I would just put my hand in my pocket and the right amount of money would always be there." "That's brilliant!" says the waitress. "Most people would wish for a million dollars or something, but you'll always be as rich as you want for as long as you live!" "That's right. Whether it's a gallon of milk or a Rolls Royce, the exact money is always there," says the man. The waitress asks, "But, sir, what's with the ostrich?" The man sighs, pauses, and answers, "My second wish was for a tall chick with long legs who agrees with everything I say." |

The generic list would be: 1. smoother transmission 2. stronger front brake (that doesn't eat pads) 3. better suspension (front and rear) The specific list would be: 1. '08 engine (I don't think '06 tranny alone retrofits, this way I get higher redline too) 2. complete ZTL2 setup (maybe some spare rotors?) 3. XBRR-spec Ohlins forks and shock (would settle for revalved forks and penske shock) Of course, as long as we have the genie out, might as well go all the way: 1. a street-legal XBRR 2. an 1125R (make mine red) 3. an '08 XB12R with ZTL2 and suspension correctly sprung/valved for my weight |

1: a pipe that performs like the drummer SS/micron system but sounds like the Buell "race" pipe. 2: a ZTL2 system. caliper, master cylinder, and brake line. 3: An 1125r race style full fairing retrofit to my bike |

1) Quieter fan (since it is still always on, or maybe a right side scoop instead to just make it run less) 2) A Thrust Blue Uly screen to match the bike. (best mod I've made but the black doesn't match) 3) 1125R front brakes. |

I agree with Glitch. Better suspension, and more track time is the essence of Buell nirvana. And an endless supply of fresh rubber is just too wonderful to contemplate. |

Specifically the "unlimited as needed tires" have to come with a mount, balance, and installation geannie who would only do them while you were sleeping so that you wouldn't have down time. While at it, that wish needs to be expanded to cover servicing the bike and handle any breakage issues. A great paying early retirement(that pocket pay thing would suffice) that includes all of the time needed to ride when ever one would desire. And then good luck. All of the time, covering everything.
