have the "S" can get manuals for the R. other than the plastic is it the same bike? will manual do me any good? he says its a c.d. for 03-06 and same as factory. i have other harleys and the manuals are year specific. what do you all think? buy the c.d. for $10 now and get factory manual later? need info in that i just bought bike and know nothing about it. owner was absent, bought from consigenment people. |

The years matter. The 03 stands by itself. And there IS a difference between the S and R, most notably is the fuse panel and wiring locations. The Fuse box on the R is behind the front fairing while it's under the seat on the S. Personally, I would only trust the Buell factory manual. Hope this helps. |

sure does help. wiring is important.lol..... i have factory manuals on my twin cam and ironhead. will ge to dealer (far away) when i can. just thinking the way ad was written they were copies of factory manuals for those years. he said same except for plastic. but ads sometimes lie.... thanks for posting/helping |

Since the Buell manuals only come in book format, if you buy that CD, you're supporting a thief. Buy the correct manual for your bike, support your favorite dealer, and not have to worry about if it's the right information. |
