no pink helmet, but i drove about 80 miles and did Gixxer Corner at Buelltoberfest. click the link and scroll down for some pics courtesy of Sanchez. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=4062&post=988097#POST988097 yesterday was the most important day for my recovery to date. It seems the BadWeB community and their positivity and friendship can move mountains. special thanks to Shred for the VIR care package. and one more to M2NC for helpin' Dixie get my chair up on the porch at TWO. Once i ran out of rail i prolly woulda ran out of balance too. I'll be ridin' by MBV. I'll get some pics posted on here soon, but in the meantime, check ol' Dirty Sanchez's work. and while yer at it, remind Dixie how pretty she is. she thinks she looks bad in those pics. .....women...... sheesh! |

another update for those who may have been following..... been walkin' on the walker, and today i upgraded to forearm crutches. it also looks like they are gonna send me home on oct. 24th. that should be my last day. i'll be comin' back for outpatient physical therapy, etc., but i will no longer be a hospital patient at that time. that makes me happy. it takes 6 months for spinal cord swelling to go down after an accident, so that puts me getting back to "normal" by the beginning of may, but if all goes well (and quickly) i'll be back on 2 (wheels and legs) by MBV. |

Good Job! I know how important it was for me to be home for the holidays instead of in the hospital. If you keep up like you are you should definitely be ready to ride come spring time. Keep the faith! |

Thank you to everybody who has posted or just read this thread. Your thoughts and prayers have helped make all the difference. i'll have walkin' pictures on the 3%er board before long. See ya at MBV!!! |
