what it looked like when i brought it home with 5100 miles on it. during assembly... then the somewhat finished version. i fixed and painted the frame, put on frame pucks, painted the triple trees and fairing support graphite gray, powder coated the wheels black and threw on the black bodywork i had laying around. still some more to do, but it is on the road now. put about 100 miles on it this afternoon. 50 of which it ran like crap. wouldnt hardly pull its self from idle up to about 3000 but much after that it could lift the front wheel. i figured out that apparently an XB does run with the injector plugs on backwards! they are identical plugs so i guessed and it must have been wrong. first i was thinking i needed a tps reset and to reset the afv, so i rode it to work and around a little bit. then i got to thinking and wondering if those where backwards. 5 minutes later and it runs like a champ!

Very Cool! I had doubts if there was actually an entire XB in that pile of parts, but if it rides, then there you have it! Nice work! |

Reall nice job Tim. I am guessing that after you sell off the extra parts, you will the bike for free, or better...... Am I right? |

I forgot how much time I had before kids. The last two years I have spent more on insurance than gas, this year has been a little better though. Well, gotta go, I need to fill out a form for my oldest kid's after school program. You have some very nice looking bikes! Dig the military paint scheme, picked you out rather quickly in the latest Fuell. |

A couple of the before pictures are pretty cool. The flash from the camera lights up one headlight making it look like......she's still alive! Gregg |

"Is that an FN shotgun case the fork legs are in?" YEP!! lol! thats part of my walt sipp built suspension that i got with it. i do like the all black(even though i still have more to black out), but i need to think of something else because even though it looks good its been done. |

Good Job Tim! It was torn down by a guy that wanted to build a race bike, but only got it halfway done. I knew Tim had what it takes to revive the bike. The amber screen has got to go though |

red plastics will probably get a paint job, and i'm not sure what i will do with the chain conversion swingarm and the walt sipp suspension. they might go on the 9. havent decided yet. this belt seems to be holding up for the moment. |
