Has anyone else had a problem with this breaking ( the wire piece thats attached to the front isolator that holds the clutch cable off of the header)? I just had the third one snap after only being on the bike for a week. Any idea's on what might be happening? The shop wants me to drop the bike off until they have time to fit it in and go over it, which doesn't work for me it's my transportation and the dealers 50+ miles from home. Austin W. |

Yup, mine broke, and the cable was resting on the hot header and melted the sheathing. Pretty easy repair but inconvenient for sure. |

I found mine did that when the cable was stretched quite a bit. Since I didn't want to buy a new cable, I just got an L bracket and cut it to fit. Will grab some pictures of it tomorrow. |

I've broken two in 7,000 miles. I just ride with the top half in place now. There over $10 bucks a pop. Hex |

happens pretty often..loosen the bolt on the bracket...down by the header...twist the little bracket clockwise and tighten....it will give you plenty of clearance...did it to mine it works fine.. Mike |

Good to hear it is semi-common. It sounds like I'll get it done under warranty once more and devise a shade tree method to use next incident. Thanks for the help! Austin |

Make them outta a wire coat hanger. I broke one and fixed it this way. Worked great. |
