I ran with a single Buell mirror and Aprilla Tuono mirror to make a comparison. (truth be told, the left Tuono mirror was on backorder for a week or so). I found both mirrors had the same amount of distortion. I appreciate the view in the Aprilla mirror - a wider field of vision and less of a view of my elbows. I also think the Aprilla mirror looks better than the round Buell mirrors. It also matches the grey hand guards whereas the Buell mirrors are gloss black. The local Aprilla dealer was real proud of them, paid around $70 for the pair. I like ‘em. -----Bob

nice.. I'm in a similar boat. The right one arrived and the left is on backorder and I'm looking forward to installing them.... but, uhm.... I paid allot less for them. Too bad some out there jack prices up like that. |

I too have the Tuono mirrors on my XBS and really like the styling and view they offer much better than the stock ones. |

Just installed them yesterday (both. from Americansportbike - Thanks Al!). Vibration is the same as the stock mirrors at 3.5krpm or less. I do get a wider field of view, and also think they give the bike a new-age look. |

I just ordered a set of Aprilia Tuono mirrors from Al @ American Sport Bike. He's got the best price and keeps them in stock. His site says something about needing to take the mounting hardware off the stockers to use with the Tuono mirrors. Anyone know anything about that? I should get mine Thursday and would like to know what I'm getting into on the installation. Thanks. |

Wha? When did Al start carrying those? For my '06, the only thing that had to be removed was the stock mirror itself...? Just loosened the nut, screwed the old one off, screwed the Tuono's in. Do the newer ones mount the mirror differently? ~SM |

I used the nut from the Tourino's with the "collar" from the XB mirrors. They cam with a black rubber sleeve. Use it to cover the nut assembly and you get a clean install. Easy. |

Got the Turino's on my Uly and i love them. Much better field of view and less vibrations at speed. I paid $38.50 for the pair at my local Aprilia dealer |

Got my Tuono mirrors from Al today. They bolted right on and really look good. I'll post up some pics once it quits raining and I get the chance to wash my bike. |
