I'm looking at lowering my SS. I rode an SCG and found its not that uncomfortable (reason why I bought an SS). I assume I can just buy SCG front forks and a rear spring to lower it. Also, the rear subframe and seat. I like the longer wheelbase, so that will stay. If anyone is looking to trade parts and work something out (to raise their SCG) or if anyone has part numbers for this project, please let me know. Bike has 300 miles, don't know if its worth trading in for an SCG vs. what I would pay for parts to do the conversion. Any ideas? |

You also need the kickstand from the SCG and the lower triple clamp because the forks are different diameter. (Message edited by diablobrian on August 06, 2007) |
