i installed my k&n air filter and carbon fiber RT-1 on friday. the sound of the bike is amazing and downright ear shattering while wearing a helmet....not so bad without, so i guess i better get some earplugs. my question is i'm still running my stock ecm until i can get the TPS reset, i popped in the race ecm and the bike would not run at all..it would start but if i touch the throttle it dies. but with the stock in it runs but my power curve has changed way more than i thought it would. i lost just about all my low end tork and i gotta take it up to like 6000-6500 rpm before it really pulls. will this be corrected once the race ecm is in and TPS reset...any comments would be much appreciated. |

yeah. keep your stock ecm in til you get to the dealership then change it out in the parking lot. getting the tps reset will take care of everything |

it should, at least, if it's done right. also make absolutely sure that you have a good seal between the header and the pipe. they run crappy in a hurry when they suck even a little air. |
