How did you arrange the saddlebags to clear the turnsignals? The only solution I see is spening more money and installing the "turnsignals in the tailight" product. If you have pictures of your solution, that would be great! |

I took the turn signals off and put some small, round LED's just above the plate. You can't quite see them in this picture but there just above the plate yet below the tail light. The straps that fold the rear of the saddle bags are compressed between the plate and the bracket that holds the plate. The only thing I had to buy was the LED's. They were about 25 dollars. I cut the tail and made the license plate bracket my self. |

Tdiddy - Thank you! Any chance of taking a close-up of your new turn signals? These old eyes just can't see 'em in your pic. Thanks! |

Mark, How on earth is there enough room for the bags on the basically nonexistent rear seat!? I really like the bags but Coretech told me that the rear seat on the S is too small. Keith |

Theres enough room after I sit on the bike and force my big butt as far back as I can. Once the bags conform to the shape of my back, it gets really comfy. Your right, theres not much room on the back of the seat. |

Tdiddy - Thanks! I can't wait to see your pics! I have just the Cortech Tailbag on my XB12S and it just fits. I'm want to be able to install and remove the tailbag and saddlebags as a unit on my XB9S. I'll takes pics of my setup when I get them installed. |

i too have the cortech bags and love them.....leave just enough room for me. i've yet too use my saddle bags because i can cram a ton into my tailbag, but i did fab up a bracket to relocate my turn signals back to the license plate... very simple. used a piece of aluminum flat stock. if i get a chance i'll throw it on and move the lights back so u can see what i did...i'm not a big fan of the lights in that location without the bags. btw i tried the led route but it scared me a little they were tough to see...and i just don't trust the cagers. |
