Just curious to know if the missing twinkle bulb(194 I assume)in a USA XB is wired or not as I would like to have the twinkle on my bike. I am asking before I remove the lamp to install the bulb. Thanks guys. |

Try asking the question on a UK forum like bike-pix. Although they use a different headlight assembly (wrong side of the road you see...), they have the "twinkle" bulbs. You can also try on BuellPassion, the french forum but few guys other there write in english... (Well I could translate I suppose) |

If by twinkle lamp You mean the bulb socket in between the hi and low beams of an XBS then YES it is wired and has power in both the high and low beam position. I've put in a blue bulb on my hero blue CITY CROSS and it looks great! and by the way You don't need to remove the whole housing to do it. just a little patience and You'll get it in. MARK |

Thanks a lot I had always thought it would look cool, and extra visibility(cars see me)doesn't hurt either. I am heading out to the shop right now |
