Is this the new 2008 Buell with a two cylinder, 1200cc, six speed Rotax engine?

LOL, that would be badass. Except I'd strip the upper and lower fairings to keep it a "sportfighter." With the rotax motor being such a beautiful powerhouse... I'd have to keep it naked! |

I'd also want to get rid of that chain and put a proper drive belt on it. |

Looks like an egg with a rear wheel. Plenty of room for oil in the swingarm though.:P |

The 08 will look like the the 03-present. I believe the current look is to go through 09. |

That picture of the yellow Buell is doable with very little investment I'd say, cept for the Rotax. I really don't understand why it takes so long to make improvements. They aren't building space shuttles. |

No they aren't building space shuttles.. If they were, they could have put out a 'new' generation each year, saying it's 'new and improved'.. and charged us all again so then we'd only have to pay for someone else ride it, since none of us would be qualified to ride.. Then, they'd be able to ask for more money from us so they could improve it again, since they are about to replace it and need the money to upgrade the unit they are about to replace. Phew.. |

I really don't understand why it takes so long to make improvements. They aren't building space shuttles. True, They are building a mass produced vehicle, which means they need to make thousands exactly the same and have as many as possible last as longf as possible. The Shuttle, there are a few, they go up the come down. They are only needed to run a X amount of time and upon return are tore down and re-built. Buell does not have this option, when the bike leaves the factory it needs to be solid. Other then sched services it needs to run X amount off miles for it's life...
