Anyone attend a buell demo weekend yet? Last year was excellent I'm hoping they have the TT there this year, I've been told its a great ride. And its always great when the harley guys show up to ride get stuck on buells and are given the speech: "You don't need to turn your handle bars lean into your turns. Also be very careful when grabbing your front brake. Pay attention to your signals they are only located on the left side" |

I attended in Appleton over Memorial Day weekend. I believe they had two TT's and had almost one of every model (even a Blast ). I found it to be a pretty well organized and fun event. The route took 30-40 minutes and they gave away Buell messenger bags. |

Yes I did the one a few weeks back at Meredith in NH, they had the TT, although I got my name in first in my group so I choose to ride the 12R which I loved a lot. |

I have never actually done a demo day but i have been down there on a demo day and walked out of the shop with a new 12r about 4 weeks ago. I just told the sales guy i will just test ride my new bike rightout the shop and he can just throw all my papers in the messenger bag so i dont have to jam them down my pants to get home. |

I attended the Demo Days at Uke's in Kenosha on May 18. I returned on Saturday, May 19 to ride my new XB12STT home after taking a 200 mile detour! |

Has anybody done a demo at a Inside Pass event? I wanted to know just how fast they will let you go on the track. |

Wolf, I have at Miller. In the morning the pace is ok, but you have to stay behind the lead rider. After lunch they loosen it up quite a bit, and you can actually have quite a bit of fun. |

What bikes did they have Coturi? How many TT's? Did you get to ride pretty much what you wanted, or was it lots of waiting and a little riding. I'm signed up for Mid Ohio... which will be ****after***** the july dealer meeting |

They had 18 or 20 bikes, at least two of everything. You can sign up to ride whatever bike you want for any or all of the sessions throughout the day. You probably wouldn't have to ride your own bike. If you're after a certain bike you might want to reserve your spot on it first thing in the morning. At Miller there wasn't a problem at all with availability. I'll be going back again in September as well, so hopefully?? |
