Anyone using Tommaselli's on an S? I was looking at the CondorSport but wasn't sure if they would work or look well on an S.

Any help/pics much appreciated.

I am using the Tomasselli Adjustable Clubmans bars on my XB 12 SR.

Here is what they look like - the risers are custom made.

Another view.

Very few things look as simple, and yet are ultimately so difficult as a new handlebar installation. The number of parts that need to be fitted and the clearances required conspire to make these installs extremely demanding and often frustrating.

Very nice. Do you need the risers to mount them???
Do they improve riding/handling/long rides/short rides??

Thanks

Thank you.

You do need some kind of risers in order to mount them at all.

At first, I just stacked a couple of modified handlebar clamps on top of each other. Worked ok, but looked a bit home made.

They were also a bit too far forward for my comfort, and the clutch cable clearance was pretty tight.

I find that they improve handling, and if fitted properly are a lot more comfortable than the R type clip ons, as they are several inches higher. Not sure I would recommend them as the absolute best thing for long distance touring.

I like the way they sweep down and back, leaving the hands in the classic cafe racer position, which I prefer for sport riding.

One of our members, Trac95ker, also makes a very nice set of clubman's with integral risers.

Thanks for all the info.....Do you know who makes the one's trac95ker has?
I think the cafe racer style works well on the S models. Finishes the bike off nicely.

again, thanks.

Rich makes them himself.

He has an XB S, and the bars are very nice.

The risers are integral with the bars, so you can have him make any height you want. They are not adjustable, but they are made to suit, so they really should not need any adjustment.

PS. From riding with him at March Badness, I can tell you that his bars seem to be a lot faster than mine.
