badgalaxie: is that a new swingarm since the last time I saw a pic of it? I remember that paint job, but not with an extended swingarm. Speedy, that's a pretty close view of your bike. Those are nice rearsets though, and what clutch cover is that? |

Jim, yes it is Gixxer corner! I got my headlights at Advanced Auto, they are Super white Plasma Driving lights. I think they were like $30. Bent the stock headlight tabs in and screwed a piece of L-form to the bracket. Wiring was simple plug and play. With both running they are like F**ing spot lamps at night. If you want I can take more detailed pics to send you. Thanks for all the approval guys! I was kinda worried how they looked when I installed them. Smokescreen |

They're just different from what everybody else seems to have on their XB as far as what I've seen anyway. Please, do take detailed pics! |

Philip, More details on your headlights, if you please! They look totally cool. PS: just thinking..............they are so small, maybe you could use three or four of them? (Message edited by gentleman_jon on May 14, 2007) |

I'll snap some more photos on my off day tomorrow. I originally wanted to mount them into the flyscreen vertically like on a Duke II or a Ducati. Decided I didn't want to hack up my only flyscreen, so I looked into mounting them like the originals. Very easy and took a total including figuring how to mount them of about 1 hour. It was a spur of the moment thing and it actually worked out before March Badness! Smokescreen |
