Here is a good one: I bought a used XB9S last year-rode it 1000 mi. Seemed OK. Changed the oil this spring and took it out for a ride. The lifters started clacking really bad-nursed it home. I burped the oil system thinking that I had air in it-Rode again-same thing. Took it to New Castle HD. They found the part of a broken dipstick (lower 4") in the oil suction line. Big flow restriction. Gotta love DPO's (damn previous owners). I have a little more valve noise but not too bad. Just Ride! |
