Well I picked up a pair of track take-offs that were in awesome shape. Was going to buy a set of Corsa III's but got a smoking deal. I hope they last through the summer. To say that these are confidence inspiring is an understatement. I can't take credit for the curly Q's on the edges but I am wearing them smooth. Those that have used these, how do they hold up? I expect the life to be short as they are soft compound. I also hear that they may be sensitive to the number of heating cycles they are put through. Any thoughts? |

PM Ortegakid (Derek). He uses Supercorsa takoffs almost exclusively on the street and has had great luck. He's not on the board much since he got his R6, but I think he still has his Buell, as he called it his "work of art". |

i bought a new set just before mbIV. 1500 miles later and a lot of commuting and the "long way home" and they are fine. several 100 mile jaunts on the interstate to get to the mountains have flattened them just a touch, but i haven't had any problems with them. prolly only have about 1000 miles left on them though... won't last me through the end of this month. gonna get another set of scorpion syncs, then another set of wheels. the new set of wheels will have dragons on them just for the mountains/track. If I can get 2000 miles out of these I will be happy. Might take me to the start of July. Thanks |

I too was going to buy a set of Corsa 3's, but got a deal on some Bridgestone 002 take offs. I figure to ride the 'stones until my track day in June. I'll wear them out on the track then put on a new set of Pirellis. If I can get a 500 miles and a track day I'll be happy. (Message edited by hooligan620 on May 02, 2007) |
