What kind of pipe treatments are out there? The stock ones look boring as hell. I know of ceramic coating and some polishing. Anything else? | ||

Been a lot of threads on this, try the search feature. My opinion is, Buells look even more bad-a** if you wrap 'em! Just looks tough to me! | ||

Where's the best place to get header wrap? I bought some off ebay and I'm not happy with it. I'd like to rotate the engine, take the headers off, and do it right. Also, mine bleached white from the heat. Anybody come up with wrap that'll stay black? I've seen some of you say you spray painted yours. Is this a common method of installation? | ||

Some header wrap manufacturers require their product be coated with a spray on "coating", almost like a clearcoat, to keep them from turning any strange colors. I have also heard they need recoated periodically. There are some brands out there that require no coating. And some guys claim you can use black high-temp paint, like BBQ paint. |
