Looks better, but still looks like an R was decapitated. It might look better with an S tail. Still original and cool. I like the Army theme. The proportions aren't fitting well. The tail looks too large and long now.

Tim,

How about chopping up a windshield some and add a small piece. It may look cool if shaped right. Just a thought. But you have achieved unique.

A chopped, black windshield would look pretty awesome! That's what it needs!

I'm more for the Black shield. It gives contrast. But then again Tim you may like it just the way it is and thats what counts.

Take a screen... trim it to the shape you prefer... make sure you like it... and chrome it.

even if i tried to cut down a stock screen for it, it would be just an odd shaped piece jutting out of the middle of the screen and would only be maybe 4-5 inches wide at the top and tapering in near the bottom where it has the two bolts that hold it.

i dont know. its kind of fun having it on. i guess i'll just ride it for awhile.

maybe, if i could figure out exactly how id keep it on. not sure the two center bolts would hold it without it breaking. guess i'll have to check things over a little bit.

That's it, looks awesome! Just drill and tap new holes if there is room for the windscreen in there.

You'd need at least 3 bolts to hold it solidly in place.

So, you want "dibs" on that screen Tim?

Looks good but like it is missing something, a small windshield or lip...

Smells like teen spirit, er I mean BUELL. I agree with the short plexi windscreen to smooth-off the top. Go for it!

we will see. i have a scratched up amber one i could practice on. i am just not sure it will work the way it would need to. the front of the fairing mount is not straight across, or even a decent curve. its kind of wavy.

Careful application of heat will cure all plastic shaping problems.

I like it too....but I think that Dana is onto something with the small black shield. I would give it a try.
