I was wondering if anyone has used these on the track and what tire pressure would you recommend...
Last time I ran 30/30, which is higher then I would imagine to be right... I could not find a definite answer, I have found "recommended" values anywhere from 28-42psi. A tad confusing I must say.
If it helps here are some shots of the tires, they do not seem too bad... So should I even bother changing the pressures?

Look fine to me.
If the bike is handling the way it should, I wouldn't worry with changing the pressure.
If it seems a bit slow handling, put in two or three pounds and see how that does, remembering to measure the pressure only when the tires are cold.
Remember: Whenever tweaking, tweak small, and tweak one thing at a time.

Looks to me as if your suspension set up is on the soft side. I suggest you check your sag setting.

I am no expert in this matter, but I do believe I recall that racers measure their tire pressure twice.

Once cold, and once immediately after the track session.
I don't know what they do if they use tire warmers.

Normally they expect the tire pressure to increase about 5 psi due to the heat, so they set the cold pressure 5 psi less than the expected hot pressures.

Does any one know anything about this system of setting tire pressure?

Also, can anyone give a more detailed analysis of the tires shown above. They look ok to me, but there does appear to be some "tearing".

Surveyor beat me to it but to also answer question... The new tires are same as pilot powers only in a dual compound so 28/26 should work just fine. Also remember that different suspension settings and tire pressures will have a dramatic difference in feel so as Glitch said very small increments.

I am running the diablo corsa III. I have 31/30 in them and was also curious if this was a good pressure? I may try lowering it, what are others running on the board?

One of the assistants out at the Streets of Willow last monday told me to run my 2CT tires at 32/32. They seemed to grip great and wear fine.

Don't know if the tracks allow this,but...

Racers(?) and hard street riders may find this useful...use nitrogen in the tires, it won't cause increased pressure when the tires heat up. Lots of custom tire/wheel shops are using this to help maintain correct pressure in those hideous 20+" wheel packages(a 1 inch sidewall can be VERY sensitive to pressure).

I was out there as well, must of somehow missed one another. I will certainly have to try that setting and see how it holds up.

I am not sure why using the nitrogen would reduce the change in pressure...
According to the ideal gas law it does not matter what gas you use or how many gasses one uses. Unless it is because the nitrogen gas that is used is moisture free. Thus as the tires heat up any liquid water that would have turned to vapor is simply missing...? What I do know for certain is that even though air is mostly nitrogen anyway it does contain other crud some of which is smaller thus more prone to leaking out...
Please do correct me if I am wrong or missing something.
Edit:
One problem that I do foresee for tires that do not increase with temperature is that it will take longer for them to warm up.

I am yet to fiddle with the suspension settings, as I just put in the 43mm forks. I need to properly set them up (or at least attempt to do so). The bike felt really nice that day out, and I did not have any trouble with chatter/bottoming out (according to the zip tie , thanks Steve, I still had about 3/4 inch still left in suspension travel).
