I'm recovering from a back injury.. I have a select and my stock City X seat.. The gel seat works.. My only complaint is its bit of ball cruncher for me. I wish The back was a inch further... | ||

anything blows away a stock "s" seat..... got a streetfighter seat and find it quite comfortable. the textured vinyl has good grip .however the hump position would probably make tall & or lard-asses feel cramped ! | ||

We need pics.. Not sure that it will actually help but anytime theres a reason to flaunt your bike you need to jump on it. I like the hump look of the corbin better but in the end I will go for the one that is more comfy. | ||

Had the select seat on my bike, the cushion for the driver is way better than stock: but the V-channel of that seat will duct water (ie rain!) right down your backside. Its like sitting at the base of a drain gutter spout. I am convinced the people that made it, do not live, ride where it rains, or do any riding in the rain with that seat. (Seattle gets wet) Seat is off to the upulstry shop, coming back as a true two up seat with gel front and rear | ||

I think the Corbin makes the back of the bike look too stubby. The Buell seat stretches it out a little. | ||

If you want something that doesn't fit and requires modification to work, weighs like a brick compared to stock, and is hard as a brick too, get the Corbin. That's my experience with them and I've heard the same from a lot of people. I know the Streetfighter is good, so the Select is probably good too. | ||

Having never tried nor even seen a Corbin in person I can not vote. I have a Select seat which I like very much. I've never been fond of the original Corbin with the really bulbous passenger pillion area but the newer one that Al sells looks pretty cool. | ||

I really like my Corbin Gunfighter. It's roomier than the stock seat and way more comfortable too. I like the look of the tall rear section of the seat, but don't think it would be very comfortable in a 2-up situation for the passenger. I don't ride with anyone else on my bike though, so this wasn't a consideration for me. The only negatives I can come up with is they're expensive and they weigh twice as much as the stock seat. Otherwise, they're great saddles.  | ||

My father-in-law has a Corbin on his Sportster... payed a ton for it. I dunno how they did it, but they made a cruiser seat MORE UNCOMFORTABLE than my stock Ss seat. Way to go, Corbin! (he hates it too, BTW, but payed too much to part w/ it!)  ~SM | ||

I had a corbin on my S1 and thought it was comfortable enough, but it didn't mount for sh!t. It weighed a ton and didn't appear to be put together very well. And the rivets gouged the hell out of the rear fairing. They were cool about it and let me return it for a full refund including shipping. I was looking to buy the select, but found a great deal on a Streetfighter (for my XB) and love it. I'd say go with whichever one of these you can find for the best deal. | ||

ya i may as well go for the select, from whats been said the fit stinks on the gunfighter and i also cant stand dealing with any company that doesnt treat their customers with the utmost respect | ||

Corbin's have a break in period of about 1000 miles. At first they are very firm, but loosen up and a become very comfortable. If you order directly from Corbin, they will customize the seat for FREE. I had the front narrowed, picked a cool leather grain, and added a black/on/black flame pattern. It came out great and has gotten may compliments | ||
