First off I realise that I cant spell and apologize in advance. That being said I was wondering what is a good helmet for side vision, periferal vision, seeing out of the corner of your eyes, whatever you call it. I feel like I cant see whats beside me when wearing my hjc and I got pissed and threw it against the garage wall and cracked it anyway so I need I new one, any advice? $300 or less, I need a medium if anyone decides that they have one they would sell me. Thanks guys! |

I would recommend a KBC VR2 or VR1. The race helmets (as opposed to the street helmets) generally have a larger viewing port but the tradeoff is that they typically have smaller vents. I've owned two KBC's and have found them to be very light and constructed using the same methods as the Arai, Shoi, Suomy, AGV helmets that cost 30-50% more. I also like the visor mechanism better on the KBC. |

Just like shopping for any helmet, you need to go try them on yourself. The helmets may have differently shaped and sized viewing ports, but every person has a differently shaped and sized head, and your eyes are in a different loaction than anyone elses as well. |

Head shapes are different for everyone. My recommendation is to go to a dealer and try on a bunch. What works for others may not work for you. |
