When spring finally pops its head out I am planning on changing out my engine oil from H-D 20-w-50 dino oil to Syn-3 synthetic oil on my 2003 XB9s with 8000 miles. Any reason why I shouldn't do this ? I know some old schoolers might say stick to what ya started with..........;)

Thanks

Go for it. I run syn 3 in my trans. and mobil one in the engine of my 9S. Synthetic oils handle high heat better and have less friction. It won't hurt a thing to switch now.

Once the 'break in' is over, synthetic is superior. Mobile 1 15w50 is one of the best available.
