I know there was a problem with the coating on the mufflers but I thought that was taken care of a long time ago. Thanks for any help. Second, I would love to order it from you but I dont have the know how to install the kit myself and the dealership will not install what they don't order. Carter   Darthane Posted on Wednesday, May 21, 2003 - 11:30 am:        Cro13, The installation's a snap, it comes with instructions, and if you need help anyone from this board would gladly give it, possibly even scanning pages of the service manual for you. Should take 2 to 4 hours, depending on just how sure of yourself you are. You would need to get the bike to a dealer to have the ECM flashed, though. I was told it was out of stock and scheduled back in stock at the distribution center the first of this week (week of 5-19-03). Dave   Dasxb9s Posted on Sunday, June 01, 2003 - 05:29 pm:        Got it!! The race kit finally came in. It arrived on 5-27-03 was installed on 5-29-03. Looking through the removed parts and reading the install instructions (which they apparently did not) I did not find the intake snorkel. BECAUSE... they failed to remove it... no biggie... but it is the small details that show one's dedication to a job well done. Low end seems better... and it is MUCH louder... it may have only added a few ponies... but it now really sounds mean! Dennis
