Here's the front page with video. Cool that the Times puts motorcycle videos on the front page of their on-line stuff! Wish more city media thought that much of motorcycles. http://www.latimes.com/ |

Great video and I think I recognize the music during the intro . . . Buell nailed it with the TT. (Message edited by court on January 24, 2007) |

Favorite quote from the article...
quote:The 17-inch wheels, fully adjustable Showa suspension and fuel injection — they're the same for all three models. But the Super TT trumps both on the lean angle: It's 44 degrees for the sort of soft-contact cornering we moms may experience, and up to 53 degrees before the guys who don't have kids do real damage.
A nice light little entertaining read. |

Man, the TT is really making the rounds this week. Motorcycle Daily (http://www.motorcycledaily.com) on Sunday, LA times and Motorcycle Online (http://www.motorcycle.com/) today. Cool! |

After owning a City-X and now a Uly, I can see the point Erik is making with the TT. But, don't try to take my Uly from me. |

I accepted the TT as a cool bike when it was announced despite it's weirdness, but now every time I hear about it, I get irritated more and more. A lot of it has to do with the contest, which turned out to be lame. Yeah, I bet it's really fun to ride, but my Ss is just as much fun, if not more because it looks so much better. Looks better to the gawkers on the road too. Plus I didn't have to shell out $300+ so I can carry a passenger if I need or want to, and not left with a set of useless sideplates and seat. Many have said the TT looks better in person, but how many people had to justify the looks of the normal Lightnings and say they look better in person? None that I know of. The normal Lightnings look beautiful in pictures and look even more beautiful in person. The CityX and the Ulysses make sense, the TT is just weird with it's pretentious side plates, ugly seat and beak fender. If it was just a normal looking City Cross Long, it would be pretty cool. Just my opinion. |

I love my 9sx dearly, but if I were in the market today I would be buying a TT. (then putting translucid blue plastics on it ) |

Yep the TT is the Buell I'd buy currently, solo seat bikes get substantial discounts on insurance and yearly road tax (registration fees) in my state/country so that is a big incentive. |

I am interested in this bike since it is basically a bigger CityX (which I love). I checked it out in person at the IMS in NYC. It felt great, but the solo seat with the warning embroidered into the material was just goofy. It reminded me of one of this "no diving" warnings on the side of an above ground pool LOL! |

You're on the downswing again Rocket... Stop bein a ... Bah... never mind. You know... Every time I take the left hander near my house on my bolt I feel like I really oughtta be kicking the ass end out and having some fun... I think with something sitting a bit more upright and taller I actually could and make it look right. The TT would fit the bill perfectly and would still spank the 600's at my local track with just a simple rubber change . |

I have tried to like it, but I just cant justify that bike? I dig the Uly but the tt is just out of place and ugly to me. But thats me, I would have rather seen the time and effort that went into the tt go to other things like a stronger motor. I dont want a all new motor I just want a little more revs and a little more hp. |

I just saw one in person at my dealer yesterday. Not my thing, but not a bad looking bike either. To be honest, with the front fender and 1203 engine, I'd take one of those over a CityX, numberplates and all. The bike does look good in person - not as good as my Firebolt sitting next to it, but good none the less. The seat actually looks the part and does a good job of it as well. It's narrower than any of the other models, so moving around on it should be cake. |

I too would be buying a TT if I were buying a bike this year. I want a white one & I'd leave it just like that. No graphics. No paint. Just immaculate white because it looks so cool with the black bits & grey frame. And the extra two inches of suspension travel over my bike (12Scg) would be really, really nice. Extremely nice even. |

I love my Firebolt, but I think any variety and more choices for Buell is better for the company. |

Vacant lot next to the dealership coming soon I cant wait to push my CityX through some closed course hooopdees. They know better than to let me borrow the keys to the new TT |
