XBjelly...FANTASTIC looking bike. Few questions for you if you don't mind:
1. Is that a ceramic coating on the Micron header?
2. Did you powder coat the frame and swing arm?
3. The triple trees and "fork ends" appear to be either annodized or powder coated...can you comment?
4. The seat rails...are they chromed or polished?

FANTASTIC job! This is one of the toughest bikes I've seen so far.

Very nice Jelly! I like the way you have bits of chrome through the entire bike with everything else black.

Here is my 12R. It is currently sitting in pieces, but this is everything I had done as of last summer.

The pipes are ceramic coated.
Frame, swingarm, clamps and fork ends are painted with high temp. paint with ceramic in it.
I started with polished seat rails but there were flaws in the aluminum so i had them chromed. Easier to take care of too!
I like the black look but wanted to break it up with some shiney parts.
Never completely done-just done for now!
Thanks for the compliments.

Were did you get your carbon fiber tank?

It`s hard to tell, but are you using Crossroads Clip-on Style Handlebars?

The bike is really nice.

its kinda weird seeing a buell with a full fairing....took me forever to get used to not having so much plastic on my bike now it seems out of place having im lookin for more stuff to take off now....i remember when i bought my bike looking for a full fairing but i was a noob and hadnt discovered bwb then i just kinda got used to it now im lookin for dirt bike bars and trying to think of what else i can take off ...is that a symptom of becoming a bueller...and by the way brian u have a really nice bike no offense meant.

It's all good M_H, I'm enjoying modifying the bike to suit my purposes : )

I just can't wait for the weather to clear up so I can get out and ride it again!

The difference in height isn't as obvious standing there looking at it as it is when
you go to throw a leg over it ;)

Mine started out as a box stock black and amber XB12S, then I started collecting the "Flavors of the Day"

Soon after, I traded for some silver wheels and installed the race kit.

Took a little Saturday trip,

Then came the Cherry Bomb plastics, polished passenger peg mounts, modified the heel guards, picked up some dealer display items

Chucked the rear pulley on the lathe, cut the black off and polished it, made front and rear axle sliders on the lathe.

Sent a set of translucid orange out for some airbrush work

Had the bike "customized" the "The Man hisself"

This winter's project was swapping out the "S" tail for the "R" tail

I have another "project" in the works

Not sure how much more can be done, I have the original black set, painted orange set, solid red set, cherry bomb set and just got the translucid blue set from a CityX. So whenever I get tired of a certain color, I swap them out for another in 10-15 minutes

Tq_freak,

They are coming from "Shock racing" :
http://www.newenoughhp.com/shock_racing_mini4_led_ turn_signals_page.htm

They are very bright and I like the design but .. the hardware is very very poor, they are coming from taiwan.
even if I tighten them by hand I have troubles. I already broke 2 of them when removing my bike cover !!
I am going to remove them for Oberon or Rizoma - more expensive but better quality.

(or anyone that is going to use the shock racing directionals)

before you put the directionals on, put a liberal amount of crazy glue on the metal base were it goes into the rubber. then ditch the lock washer that comes with the directionals and use a star washer instead.

they don't brake that easy. the lock washer that comes with them is just to stiff.

Norrie

It's a '93 Honda Del Sol. Got it cheap to use when i'm not riding. I'm getting ready to buy a new truck and sell it soon.
