what's it say across the top sides of the fairing---"thou shall not whine racing"???? there's a story there I'm sure... nicely done graphics...very fluid. It really de-emphasizes the rear/cowl. |

Nice paint...looks much better then it did in September. Good luck next season... by the way if you need a break this season my son said he can hold it down. Would be a great weight reduction!

That Liberty HD paint job IS beautiful, but I've always wondered why the front faring on the XBRR is as big as a VW. |

Sweet paint job Ant. Now don't go scratchin' it up too soon. |

The size of the faring really improves the aerodynamics with the rider on. Often a balance is found between aesthetics and performance. Me thinks the XBRR is erring on the side of performance. I still think it doesn't detract from the looks. She is a beauty. |

Damn nice paint job and I hope you have great success. The more Buells the better. I would, however, wish that the XBRR was more aesthetically pleasing... your paint makes it look heck of alot better than what came out from the factory - note the expert use of horizontal lines to break up the bulk of the fairing design! I've drunk a lot of beer and the factory XBRR still doesn't look good. Hope I don't offend anyone who has drunk more beer than me!!! (Message edited by sloppy on January 15, 2007) |

SLOPPY thanks for the insight. i thought this paint job out and change the front of it a couple of time and this looked the best. my XB12R should look as good as well |

Mutation, The paint job looks great and best of luck to you this season. The design of that fairing, as aerodynamic as it may be, just hasn't grown on me though. And I have tried hard too! I think the fairing on the Trojan race bike and by the looks of it on your other bike is much more complimenting to the bike. I'm sure if the looks of it were more in line with the good looks of other brands, it wouldn't get as much flak from the Buell haters. But then again, you heard guys whining about the new Ducati saying it looks too much like a Honda I think that is a beautiful bike myself. No offense meant to anyone. |

I'm just wondering why the hell didn't the factory just make it look like a Firebolt as much as possible, right from the start? |
