So I was changing my spark plugs on my 2004 Firebolt and I noticed something I had never seen before. The rear isolator bracket was a nice machined piece of aluminum with "Woodcraft" written on it. I know Woodcraft makes some fine racing parts and bike stands, but I did not know they were a vendor to Buell. Kinda cool. You can partially see it here.

Are you the original owner? I don't believe that is stock. |

That's not stock... Woodcraft certainly does make and sell that piece though... |

No, I am not the original owner. That probably explains it, then. |

I went to the Woodcraft website and there was no sign of this part... To me, it seemed weird of all things they would make would be an isolator bracket. |

The story behind my bike is that the original owner worked at the Buell factory. |

The race kit was on it as well and the motor is very strong compared to my XB9SX. When I changed the plugs on it they were perfect in color indicating ideal combustion. Like I said, the bike runs very well... |

That is badass! I would talk to the original owner or contact Woodcraft. I know the XBRR has several woodcraft components and it is the official swingarm stand for the bike. Heck I think it comes in the crate. BTW, you do know you don't have to pull the lower airbox cover to chage plugs right? All you need is a good swivel. 15 min. job tops. |

Nasty, I changed the wires too. Lower box cover has to come off. |

Maybe the guys that work at the factory get their bikes with a few extra goodies? |
