Just got my Crossroads bars and the foot controls powder-coated gloss black and it came out great for only $100 bucks. Also got the new plastics. The American Sport Bike open airbox kit looks freakin BAD ASS with them, I get tons of attention and questions. I had a customer at the dealership say "Damn, Buell ain't messin' around with these bikes are they," after seeing the air filter. I would highly recommend the kit, big difference in performance along with the catch can. I also want to thank Al for all the help he is, I have called him from the dealership and we've spent 30+ minutes multiple times trying to brainstorm some problems and just bs. What a geat guy to have in the sport. He goes out of his way to help us Buellers in any way he can. Thaks for all your hard work. Looks Great - I have to say, that's the first time I've ever really liked the transparent plastics. Sharp. |

Nasty73Z A little off topic but is that a Mid-Year Vette under the car cover? Tim |

Thanks for all the compliments guys, I appreciate it! And Cecil, actually it's not a 'Vette, it is my 1973 Camaro Z28. It does have the four round tail lights like the vettes though! If I would stop spending so much money on my bike I could get it back on the road. |

Which crossroads bars do you guys have - the 0 degree or the -7? Did you wing it, or did someone else have them already, and you knew which ones were right for you? |

I notice you have an aluminum Jardine. My first one came apart on me so beware. The titanium one is awesome though. |

Gracias Amigo... Bombero, my bars are the 0 Degree model. Nasty73z, How do you like your CRG LS Mirror? I'm planning on running one on my left bar, but haven't ordered one yet. |

I work at Forman Harley-Davidson/Buell in Stillwater, OK, so I just ordered them for myself. They are OE parts on 2006-07 Lightning XB12's. Any Harley dealership can order them for you. My bars are also the 0 degree version, love them. Fravel, I love the CRG mirror. I went through two of the cheap cateye bicycle oines before I broke down and bought this one. It is pricey, esp. with the adapter, but the thing looks killler and is rock solid. Never moved at 140+ mph, and the hinge is extremely useful. I'm surprised at how often I actually fold it in. |
