maybe i wil be asking a first time question for once. i have a chopped tail on my lighting. being the minimalist i am have come to hate my home made tag bracket. i use the two hole that on a stock bike the wiring runs through. i am curious if the firebolt tag barcket would bole to those to holes? anywith a S and an R will to take a look or maybe someone that has an R or S swap that can put an old piece up to the new to see? |

that looks good. but thanks to the local crotchrockets running and doing wheelies in congest traffic, cops are after all bikes. i know they would trry to get me for that. i like your side rails and my tail is the same design and color. was that all done with a rattle can? |

Is it illegal to mount your plate like that if it's illuminated and visible (not hidden behind the tire)? |

I run mine the same way.. When I pull along an NYPD car, I just reach behind and pull it up for safe measures. Mine is on a bracket though so can hinge back and fourth |

buellblastrider here is another angle of my plate.
the bolts that hold on the plate have "side firing" l.e.d.s in them.(and lite the plate up very well!)
believe me when i say, the police around here bust chops for every thing if you are not on a cruiser.but not once have they pulled me over for the plate or have i been fined for it. as far as the tail on my bike. the whole thing is powder coated to match the frame. brian |

Riding with your visor up is illegal? Where the hell do you live? How do you scratch (or pick) your nose when you are at speed if a) your visor has to be down and b) both hands have to be on at all times. Heck, here in Cali, many of us ride one handed for miles at a time for comfort. --Sean |

i think its more along the lines of how they twist the law. they are big on the people that mount their plates to the undertray |

"heck, i ride for miles at a time with my feet" I can also attest to this one. Tim is a good guy, but he contributes to my ulcer. Seemingly on a regular basis. I just have to chant in my head while watching him "to be old and wise we must first be young and stupid" over and over again. Then drink a quart of pepto bismal (It's all in fun Tim) |

aww, i just try to enjoy life when given the option. some days it just wont let me though, lol. you guys never have seen drive with my feet and laying down yet!!! 4 more months and i'll be 30(ugh) i keep growing older and wiser, but that whole growing up part i try and hide from as much as i can. and what you can get away with depends completely with where you are i think. i have no mirrors(left hand one is required by law here), turn signals, license plate lights and my plate is up under my undertail. never been stopped once for any of it. |

I never said anything about growing up Tim. Back on topic: The shock racing signals are very nice and they are bright (some other brand LED signals are NOT) |
