Couldn't find ANY mirrors to my liking... I know there are alot out there, but I fabricated a pair on my own. They are Original HD long stem black(convex glass), rethreaded to 5/16-18, mated to a rod connector, and then to a 10mm-5/16-18 adapter. A little paint... And what do you know, A set I like! Just thought I'd share a pic. Happy Holidays!

Very clean installation. Looks great and damn near looks factory. Very creative idea about making it your own! You're right, once painted you don't even notice the rod coupling. I also like the use of the different decals on the tank! Very sweet! |

Yes, I like the decals. Where did you get them? It's virtually impossible to find anything "Buell" in Harley shops! |

Nice looking fabrication. How's the vibration on those? |

Thanks for the "kudos" on the fabrication. As for vibration: They do vibrate a bit at lower RPM's , but overall not any more then the set on my Dyna. I did also fabricate a pair using Short Stem HD mirrors... No vibration on those, but a bit more "shoulder" in the rear view than I like. (If anyone is interested in the short stem pair I fabricated, PM me and we can work something out.). Decals: I got them from an online guy. I'll need to dig out his email address, but he does nice work. Pretty much anything you can think up he'll draw, and the produce. Kaveman |

I always thought that those new-style stock HD mirrors were some of the best looking units out there. Looks tight, and once painted looks factory - I guess it is to and extent |
