whats the fork diameter on a 05 XBScg, INBETWEEN the upper and lower triple clamps? the fork legs are reduced between the clamps and i dont have a way to measure them. thanks |

If it's the same as the standard 41mm tube forks it is 50mm in between the clamps. It is 54mm at the top and bottom clamp. This is on the standard fork tubes from an 03. |

41mm is the fork slider tube diameter on the 03-04 xbs and all scgs. 05+ non-scg have 43mm sliders. (Message edited by diablobrian on December 02, 2006) |

so..to make sure im clear on this. the small diameter of the forks, between the top and bottom triple clamps is... 50 mm. that doesnt seem right, because where the clamps go, the fork is 41mm..but between the clamps its smaller..so how could it be 50mm. i could be wrong though... |

Where the clamps go it is 54mm. The part that slides in and out of the outer tube is 41mm. |
