Crap, had one on my Sportster. The cool flaps are the best feature, but the annoying squeaking was awful. Took it off, put on a Forcewinder and never looked back. --Sean | ||

When I bought my bike the previous owner had one of those things on it. It didn't run worth a darn, but he sure was excited about the chrome flapper thing! It was the first piece that came off the bike. Now I use it to keep squirrels away! All form and no function. | ||

speaking of sqirrels a local mail carrier was attacked the other day by a squirrel. i bet she wishes she had a chrome flapper thing to have keep it from riding her back like a kid on carrousal. | ||

one of the guys that work for me witnessed the whole thing he said it was the funniest thing he ever seen. but not as funny as the day i lit myself on fire trying to kill bees but thats another story. | ||

Krassh I dunno, you may have to "up" the cement to sugar ratio, but either way, I think I'd still get that rock off of Tq_, it takes a little time for the cement to set up.... | ||

I put one on my Vulcan nomad with the K&N filter. It really looks cool and maybe helped a little, but the Vulcans have real restive stock aircleaners. After 18 months the Hypercharge chrome started pitting and pealing. Do not get one. |
