I would like to change the mirrors on my 06 City X. I don't really care for bar ends. I would like something a little more low profile than the stock Mickey Mouse ears. If any one has any suggestions or even better some XB Pics with different mirrors the help me make a choice, That would be great. |

Here are the Rizoma 851's. I think they look cool. These would look very cool as well. They also have a "Golf Club" mirror that is cool and isn't as spendy. These are direct replacements and don't cost much at all. Check at Trojan. One other choice are stock mirrors from a Tuono. They bolt on directly and are much cooler than stock. War baby put them on his Uly and they look really cool. |

which mirrors (besides bar ends) give you a look to the rear without seeing yourself? And still lower profile than stock? I am in the same boat as Cixyx pilot. |

The problem is that rear view is dependent upon the rider. I'm a Fat Bastard. There isn't a mirror that would allow me to see around myself (and not hang off the ends of the handlebars. I have found that I see best when heeled over in a turn. Try more twisties. |

I've got some rizomas that I bought through Trojan, you can kind of see them in my profile. PM me if you want a few more pics... |

i am going to have some spacers machined that will kick the mirrors out about an inch or so, plus add some articulation. i'll post pics when finished. |

Jeremy, Do you know where WarBaby purchased the Tuono mirrors? Can they be purchased online? Thanks, Keith |

My Rizoma 851's are a big improvement. Zero vibration, even at idle. A little tuck of the elbows gives a good view. |

Hey Cixyx_pilot- Would you be interested in these "Golf Club" style mirrors? I purchased these from a fellow BadWebber(Elf), but never used them. They aren't new, but are in Good Condition. How about $25 Plus Shipping?
They were purchased from Trojan-Horse. http://www.trojan-horse.co.uk/ |

Jeremy, Thanks for the Tuono mirror tip. I purchased a set from AF1racing. They were great to deal with. The mirrors are expensive but very well made, bolt right up, offer very good visibility to the rear, look good, and vibrate very little. Keith |
