I was just about to pick up my Buell a couple weeks ago when one of my a-hole roomates bounced his portion of the rent and ditched out on us! So no xb12 for me anytime soon! I gotta cover the scum-bag's portion (who I havn't heard from in over a week) because my other roomie is too broke... After 2 years of not driving a car this shiote is driving me crazy, traffic SUX and I was looking forward to getting back on two wheels... Sorry, had to vent! |

Take him to court, sue the b*tch! And talk to your landlord. How can they hold you responsible for somone else's portion? Did they sign their own lease or is everything in your name? |

sue him for what? you're not gonna get any money if there's none to get...just wrack up your own expenses... sounds like you need to get better roomies or just your own place instead. |

Well basically we're all on the lease, but the rent's gotta be paid in full no matter how many folks are livin in the house, since I make the most (but still not a lot) I have to cover him cuz my other roomie cant... Sux arsh! I am bringing him to small claims court but it won't get to the hearing for a few months, then who knows how long till the a-hole pays me... But biggest prob is that we're gonna have a hell of a time finding a new roomie that wants to live up in the hills where we do... Anyone lookin for a room to rent? Gotta kick arsh 3bd 2bth house on 10 acres in Camino, CA |

If it's less than $2,500, you can take him to small claims court. No attorney and very minor expenses. Think Judge Wapner! |

Brings back fond memories of self-obsessed roomies and why I worked harder to get rid of them. Only person you can trust is yourself in your early years. Everyone else is a gamble. Correction: It happens later in life as well, just not as often or as serious unless you are married to the creep. (Message edited by Outrider on October 24, 2006) |

Maybe take the money you got saved up, and buy good gear first. Just a thought. |

"I was just about to pick up my Buell a couple weeks ago when one of my a-hole roomates bounced his portion of the rent and ditched out on us!" How ironic... I once didn't have my share of the rent because I used it as a downpayment on a KDX200. |
