It took this long for a journalist to figure out that he should dial in the suspension before reviewing a bike? I'm glad to finally see a mostly positive review. |

I'm glad someone has finally compared the bike against itself instead of against the repli-racer set. All bikes need not have 150 HP and go 170 MPH to be good. |

I'm amazed... he actually read the instructions before blasting it! And he noted that ALL manufacturers should go through the trouble Buell does in defining baseline suspension settings. Real nice! Most journalists would've ham-fisted the suspension, criticized the resultant handling, and that would've been the end of it. This guy did his homework! Wish they ALL would! |

It just indicates that unlike most MC journalists, Alex Edge can actually read. I have my doubts when reading the works of others. |

I had the same trouble with my suspension setup. (I had someone do it who was used to Other sport bikes)and the rear preload was off by one setting for my weight and the front preload was off by half (XB9SX) I can not believe how sensitive it is. But when I changed it back to the manual settings it was like a completely different bike. Are the tips he gives about preparing for a turn, good tips? |
