Anyone out there using a 190 rear tire? And if you are, what are some of the pros and cons. Thanks in advance. El Diablo |

I just put one on my XB and there are no clearance problems , does not affect handling much either . I'm happy with it ...... |

Isn't throwing a 190 on a stock rim just like puttin' on an XXL condom when the best performance would be gained from an XL. PUT THE RIGHT RUBBER ON (-: |

Also they are the same mag that could set up the XB to properly handle correctly. |

I run Corsas on my bike with a 190 rear. I think this setup is superior to the D208's I started out with, and it looks tough too. As for whether or not the belt guards clear the tire or not, I don't know. I took those and a bunch of other stuff off the bike the first week I owned it (rear footpegs, stalk mirrors, rear fender, intake snorkel, rt. side engine trim where the aftermarket air scoop is supposed to be mounted). I thought I was doing all the good trimming weight off my bike until I swapped in the Corbin seat. I love it so don't get me wrong, but that thing weighs a ton. |

A good seat is going to be heavy. I figure since I don't quite get to the edge of the 180 tire, I'll leave it. No point having more tire if I don't use it. |

one question, why on earth would you want to have a 190? unless you dont like the whippy way XB's handle and need something to restrict the awesome handling. |

Opinion's very!!! Sorry but it doesn't effect the handling any. |

Bowdre - Thanks for the $$$ saving tip! It's time for new tires again, so I'll check them out. I usually buy from americanmototire.com, but I'll check prices @ www.cyclegear.com too. As for the 190, I do want maximum performance, but I like the look and I'm pretty sure I ride just as good either way. Dunno, maybe I'm not pushing it hard enough. Need to find some good twisties. What I've found so far just aren't enough to really challenge the bike. |

Hey I just looked at Corsa prices on cyclegear and they're WAY more expensive than http://www.americanmototire.com. Check them out. |
