Just looking for a little info. Rode to work this AM (05 CityX) and noticed in the 10 mile ride that my lights (headlight, gauge lights) went dim 5 or 6 times. It lasted about 5 - 10 seconds each time and then returned to normal brightness. And no, the headlight dimming didn't coincide with my flipping the high beam switch. Is this a pre-cursor of future problems. I haven't checked anything yet, but wondered if I could get some guidance. Thanks in advance. |

How old is your battery? Also, check the connections to the battery and the ground strap to the frame. Seen some weird symptoms from bad ground connections and failing batteries. (Message edited by aeholton on October 18, 2006) |

Battery is only 6 months old. Will check all connections, thanks. BTW, how do you like your Laminar Lip? |

Definitely check the battery connections first. Mine did that once. |

BTW, how do you like your Laminar Lip? One of the better accessories/mods I've done. Works great when riding solo. Takes pressure off your chest and arms, keeps head in clean air. However, get some buffeting around my head when riding two up with my wife. |
