Man, you wanna talk about flipping a switch!!! Over the weekend I picked up my 06 Long from Harley after getting the tps reset on the race ECM and what a huge difference. This was the missing link after installing a Drummer SS, Drummer catch can kit, and K&N with American Sport Bike open air box kit! I put 3,000 miles on the bike while waiting 4 months for the Drummer can and all I can say is I would've waited 8! This thing sounds unbelievable and now runs smoother than it did stock. The deep rumble and hit that the exhaust emits is music to all who hear. This biggest improvement is the way the bike pulls, revs come quick, hard, and silky smooth!!! This thing really turns heads now and even gets people to look sideways while traveling down the freeway, but by no means do I find any of it obnoxious. This is an extremely rideable combination. If you're contemplating doing this combination of perf. improvements then do yourself a favor and call Kevin and get on the list for a Drummer (hey winters here anyway) and if your already on the list, then congrats my fellow Bueller! It will be worth the wait. Thanks must be given to Kevin at KD Fab for building such a quality product for machines that have limited aftermarket support!!! |

Scott, Glad your riding and having fun!!!! Thanks a bunch for the good words and I appreciate your business.... Aatch, The SS is holding up at the moment because of the Co. that I buy material from is no longer carrying a specific size...I found another vendor so I'm back on track...I can do the conversions pretty fast but it takes a few days and then shipping.... Yepp, Drummer is the way to go. Tried an original Buell XB12 last week, never tried that before since I'we got mine directly out of the store with race-ecm, Buell's free flow filter and a Drummer SS, and what a difference!!! Wounder if I am the only one in Norway with a Drummer SS |
