just installed my new "drummer" exhaust and noticed one of my braided oil lines had been rubbing on the top of the rear (alum.) muffler bracket. so i tweaked the "hard" tubing and secured two ofthe lines together with a piece of split rubber hose and safety wire. the doggone braided line had wore a knotch about 1/4" deep into the alum. bracket!!!! could'nt see any damage to the braided line though! when the rear suspension moves so DO those oil lines ! (more than you would think!) so do your motorcycle a favor and CHECK those oil lines for proper clearance!!
