Roly, A few drops ain't gonna kill your bike. For added reassurance run a little isopropyl gas dryer in there.

It will take a pretty good amount of water to give you noticable problems. My M2's tank filler cap does a horrible job sealing, and rain (and morning dew) get in it all the time. Only after sitting for a couple of days of rain will I have running trouble. Lately for added assurance, I have been tapeing off my gas cap if I know it's going to rain. I wouldn't worry about filling up in the rain unless it is such a bad rain storm that someone is collecting animals to put on a boat.

If you want to or worried about it you could try some Metholated spirits in the tank. it will absorb to water. I you dont belive it, try adding water to fuel in a glass, you will see it stays seperated, but when you add the Metho the water seems to disappear.

You wouldnt need much for an XB tank. There are probably directions on the bottle for such a thing.

Doesn't add much to this conversation, but just out of good habit, I usually add some Heet to my tank in the spring, after winter storage...
