All those items are wear items and the mileage will vary greatly with rider and conditions. And that last question is just pointless. |

IIRC: Front Pads 15,000 miles Back Pads 10,000 miles Belt 16,000 miles (not broken, supposed to be changed at 15,000 on the 2003 XB's) Front Tire: 7500 miles average Rear Tire: 5000 miles average current Diablo Strada looks to go past that mark) |

One guy ran his bike into the ground without doing any maintenance. We stoned him to death and told his parents the lions ate him. |

how many miles out of a front set of pads? I get about 8K out of the front pads. '' '' '' '' ' '' '' '' ''back set of pads? Around 14K I don't use them for much more than settling the suspension in and out of the corner. '' ' ' ''' ''' ''' '' ' '' rear belt? My bike is at 28K and the belt is original. '' '' '' '' '' '' '' '' '' front tyre? The first three were around 5 or 6K the latest Dunlop Qualifier seems to be wearing out at about the same rate as the rear. '' '' '' '' '' '' ''' '' '' rear tyre? Ummmm..... My name is Scott and I am a torque addict. I get about 3000 to 3500 miles out of a rear tire, I really, really like as much corner exit speed as I can get, this leads to a rapid reduction in tire life. anyone done over 60000 miles on their buell? Not there yet, I only put about 9,000 miles a year on my bike, I wish it was more but between working for a living and winter I don't get to put big miles on it. anyone not service their bike till it stops. I service it shortly after I start feeling guilty. (Message edited by crashm1 on September 30, 2006) |

better question, how many Buells have made it to 60,000 without failing a belt, stator, regulator, steering bearings or headlight assembly? Sorry, still pissed off at my bike. |

Front pads, 7,000 Rear pads, 10,000 Tires are to subjective to rider use and abuse/brand to provide a decent answer. Drive belt, one at 5,000 another at 10,000 and yet a third at 14,000. Join the chain gang if you ride hard. |

Front/rear pads 7500K and still going. Front/rear tires changed at 5K (Pirellis). Rear belt 7500K and still going. Synthetic oil run since 1K, going back to 2050 next change. |
