hello everyone. just picked up my 07 xb12r yesterday and loving it so far. got some pics for you all.
straight from the dealer, 13 kms on the odo.
and now have a mate for the chook chaser. it took some getting used to for the first hour having never ridden a road bike before, but feels lighter in my hands every km that goes by. that fan noise is annoying isn't it!! |

Some miles on the bike and synthetic oil will help to make a cooler running engine and the fan won't come on as often. You'll be happy with your bike even when the fan whirrs. |

AceJay, congratulations on your new "baby"! I have had mine for a couple weeks, and I love it. The fan does come on quite a lot, but that's because the engine is too tight, I suppose. Good choice in purchasing the pucks and sliders - that's what I did also. Good luck with it. |

so ive put about 450kms on it now and its going sweet. i understand why all the bolts have loctite on them now!! it gets loads of attention. buells are pretty rare in australia and everyone wants to stop and talk about the bike. next item on the shopping list is an exhaust pipe, and soon, because that stock muffler is living up to its name extremely well! i think this will have to be shipped from america too as there is not alot of aftermarket parts available in australia. going for a ride down the great ocean road today, which is about the most famous section of road in australia. probably the equivalent of the canyon roads ive read you americans talking about. |
