2007 XB12Scg 400 Miles Battery die after being parked for a day. Dealer, Vallejo HD-Buell, replaced it under warranty. No out of pocket; no complaints. Love my new bike. Put another 100 or so on it tonight. Headlights are real questionable especially the low beam. |

Hm... my battery did the same thing, only it turned out to be my stator was grounded. Dealer replaced stator/regulator/battery under warranty. Just be cautious, and if it happens again, you might mention the charging system to them. |

Make sure you don't turn your ignition to the accessory position, as your battery will die if you do this! |

Good for you; the battery in my Uly died back in May/06. The dealer said that Harley-Davidson/Buell would not cover it under warranty because the bike sat unridden too long without "maintenance." The replacement cost me less than $50. At the time that wasn't worth the hassle to me to force the issue with H-D. So I just bought one. |
